DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "Model 23" chronograph, 16 size, 19 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted to 3 positions and temperature nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, monometallic balance, double roller and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a base metal, screw back and bezel, open face case, with engraved back "AN 5742-1 MFRS PART NO.37297 HAMILTON WATCH CO.", and Arabic numeral, black painted metal dial, white painted spade and poker, chronograph and register hands, serial #P11582, c1942
CONDITION: CASE: Minor scratches on outer surface of case. DIAL: Excellent . HANDS: Excellent. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few minor scratches on plate; Heavy application of graphite grease to castle wheel - could easily be cleaned. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly. A nice example in very good condition
